We believe that:

• Health is about more than appearance.
• Lasting change is built through consistency, not perfection.
• Shame is never an effective long-term motivator.
• Community makes difficult journeys easier.
• God cares about every part of our lives—body, mind, and spirit.
• Freedom is possible, one step at a time.

About The Freedom Table

A Place for Grace, Growth, and Lasting Change

The Freedom Table was created from a simple belief:

No one should have to walk their wellness journey alone.

For many of us, the struggle has never been a lack of information. We know what healthy choices look like. We've read the books, tried the diets, and promised ourselves that this time would be different.

Yet we often find ourselves stuck in the same cycles of guilt, shame, perfectionism, discouragement, and starting over.

The Freedom Table was born from the desire to create something different.

A place where women can gather honestly.
A place where grace is valued more than perfection.
A place where faith and practical wellness can work together.
A place where accountability feels encouraging rather than condemning.

Around every table, stories are shared, burdens are carried, and relationships are built. Throughout Scripture, some of the most meaningful moments happened around a table—places of fellowship, provision, healing, and belonging.

That is the heart behind The Freedom Table.

We believe lasting change begins with more than a number on a scale. It begins with renewing the mind, understanding our identity in Christ, building healthy habits, and finding the support of others who understand the journey.

Meet Your Facilitator

A woman with curly red hair sitting at a table with open books, a notebook, a pen, a cup of coffee, a lit candle, and a vase of purple flowers, in a warmly lit room with a window and candles in the background.

Hi, I'm Mollie.

If I'm being honest, I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember.

My mom likes to joke that when I turned five, I "blew up," and in many ways, weight has been a part of my story ever since. Over the years, I've experienced the cycle that so many women know all too well: determination, motivation, a new plan, some success, a setback, discouragement, shame, and then starting all over again.

I've tried to change countless times.

I've made promises to myself.
I've had seasons of progress.
I've had seasons of frustration.
I’ve had seasons of laying out on the floor begging God to “fix/heal”me.

There have been nights when I laid on the floor in tears, crying out to God to heal me. I prayed for discipline. I prayed for motivation. I prayed for freedom. I wanted Him to simply remove the struggle.

I realize now that while I was asking God to change my body, He was slowly working on something much deeper—my heart, my identity, and my understanding of His grace.

And for a long time, I believed the problem was simply that I wasn't trying hard enough.

What I've come to realize is that lasting change isn't just about knowing what to do. It's also about our thoughts, our beliefs, our habits, our relationships, and the stories we tell ourselves. It's about learning to separate our worth from our struggles and understanding that we were never meant to carry our burdens alone.

Today, I'm a wife and a mom, and one of my greatest desires is to help my children develop a healthy relationship with food, with their bodies, with the world around them, and most importantly, with God.

I don't want them to grow up trapped in shame.

I want them to know that their value comes from who they are, not what they weigh. I want them to understand that health is about stewardship, not punishment. I want them to experience the freedom that comes from living in truth rather than striving for perfection.

As I've worked through my own journey, I've realized something else:

I deeply longed for community.

I wanted a place where I could be honest about my struggles without judgment. A place where faith and practical wellness could exist together. A place where women could encourage one another, celebrate victories, share setbacks, and keep moving forward together.

And when I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, God began placing it on my heart to create it.

That's how The Freedom Table was born.

Not because I have all the answers.

Not because I've arrived at some perfect destination.

But because I believe there are many women who are tired of fighting the same battles alone.

Women who are looking for encouragement instead of condemnation.
Women who are ready to trade shame for grace.
Women who want accountability without judgment.
Women who want to pursue health while growing in their faith.

The Freedom Table is not about being perfect.

It's about showing up.

It's about taking the next faithful step.

It's about gathering around the table together and discovering that freedom grows in community.

My hope is that every woman who joins finds encouragement, practical tools, meaningful connection, and a renewed understanding of who God says she is.

No matter where you are in your journey, there is a seat for you at The Freedom Table.
